Everything looks fine in the .aip project you sent. The only problem I see is that you placed your files in Application Data and not in the Application Folder. The Application Data folder is a special windows folder that translates to C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data. You should...

Hi Simon,

Just go to the Service Properties page, and add the following string in the Start Name field:

NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE

That should run the service from the Network Service account.

Best regards,

You don't need to run msiexec.exe to install your application. Just double click on the .msi file. It will automatically run msiexec.exe /i package.msi for you.

Hope this helps.

Unfortunately you haven't missed it. This feature is not yet implemented.

The good news is that it is very high on our to do list, and it will probably be implemented in the next version.

All the best,

Philip

We are working on this as we speak.

One solution would be to have the image stretch to fit all the space of the dialog. If you have any other suggestions, I would be happy to hear them.

Thanks for your help in tracking down this issue.

Best regards,

Philip

Hi Kaushick, The custom action that you need to create will ask the user for the required information and then create a DSN based on this information. We will add this functionality within the Advanced Installer in a future version. Meanwhile, here's what you need to do to get things going: 1) Creat...
