Error code 2755 on failed search

Fri Nov 23, 2007 2:29 pm

Hello. First of all - fabulous product, really love working with it.

I'm just finishing off my first installer, and have encountered something I'd like to change but don't know how. I've added a search to the installer for a registry key which I then use to create an environment variable. That all works fine, but if the search fails I need a user friendly error message to be displayed - preferably a text I've written myself. Unfortunately what is displayed is :

The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2755

Is there a way for me to have more control over the error when the registry key search isn't found?

Never mind, I've found out how to do it through the prerequisites page. This product has no faults! :)
