Cannot update file in Vista

Hi,

I have a custom action that gets executed in the WriteIniValues. It is a DLL, and on XP works like a charm.

However, in Vista, it does not let me alter the files after they have been installed. How should one go about correctly doing this.

Just for the record, the reason for me changing the files, is they need to be updated to reflect the installation.

Cheers
Jason

Hi,

Please try to use the "Deffered with no impersonation" option in the "Execution Options" section in the "Properties" page of the custom action.

Let me know if the problem persists.
