Hi cata?
Thanks for your services. My browser may be preventing downloading of the installer. On following instructions of using the downloaded program,it merely creates a folder in drive C and puts my source code in it.
Please help me by providing me with a working link and explain why it i install my programmes ,creating executables and even icons for then.
With thanks in advance,
kent. :?:

Hi Kent,

Could you provide more details about the problems that you are having?

Also, what link are you referring to? Advanced Installer can be downloaded from this URL:

Installing and Using AInstaller

Postby kent » Thu Aug 04, 2005 1:09 pm

What happens is that after following the instructions given when using advanced installer to convert my applications to executables i find my source code inside the folder designated as " my company name".
Also i thought valid download links have .exe extensions as an indication of actual linking to a program, the link you've provided also seems no to work!
cheers.
kent.
NB:I deleted the Installer after it failed to produce the required results.

Hi,

Advanced Installer does not convert application to executables. It is an application for authoring MSI packages. For more information on it's features please visit:

http://www.advancedinstaller.com/features.html

The link seems to work fine on my computer. On I click it is prompts me to download the file. What problem do you encounter? This file is a MSI (installation file) and doesn't have to be an EXE.
