Exit codes for bootstrapper

Hi,

When we run an MSI install in silent mode we can capture the exit code to see if it was successful. We need to do the same for the bootstrapper application but this always seems to return 0 regardless of whether the MSI install was successful. Is there a way to capture the MSI exit code from the bootstrapper?

Hi,

Normally, the bootstrapper should have the return code of the MSI package. However, there is a bug in Advanced Installer and the bootstrapper doesn't return any value. This bug will be fixed in the next version of Advanced Installer which is scheduled for release in the near future.

Hi,

The next version of Advanced Installer is scheduled for release in a couple of weeks. I'm afraid that I cannot give you an exact ETA because there are some features which haven't been completely implemented yet.
