Error in Duplicate command Option

To whom it may concern

The below listed problem occured with the latest version 6.4.

Using the command line tool in order to duplicate a project totally screwed up all path references of included files. Since my directories are to deep I copied the source project to C:\ in order to match obviously existing path string length restrictions.

Please verify if this only happened to me or if it is a bug in general.

thanks for your earliest possible feedback.

Re: Error in Duplicate command Option

Hi Michael,

Please note that by default the paths in Advanced Installer are relative. Also, the command line uses this default option for the projects you modify or create. If you need to create a new project from an existing one it is recommended to use absolute paths or path variables.
