Adding Language Specific ReadMe in Pro edition

Sun Jul 27, 2008 10:32 pm

I'm trying to create a french version of the install msi. The help seems to say I can add a french readme by going to the dialog page and hitting a little 'translation' button. The problem is I don't see a little translation button. Is that something that's only available on the enterprise addition. Is there a way to simply use the english file in the lanugage specific installs? Right now, it shows the default Advanced Installer for the language specific install, but the english install has what I've specified in the readme file.

Hi Rich,

The localization button is shown only for an Enterprise project. For a Professional or Java Application project the button has been replaced with a context menu. Simply right-click into the field which contains the path of the RTF file and select the "Localization" option.

We will update the help file so it can also cover the Professional and Java Application projects. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
