The ProductCode property is a unique identifier for the particular product release, represented as a string GUID, for example "{12345678-1234-1234-1234-123456789012}". Letters used in this GUID must be uppercase. This ID must vary for different versions and languages of an installation package.1) What is the product code of m application ?
The ProductCode of your package is generated automatically by Advanced Installer. You can see it by opening the .AIP file with a text editor and checking the value of the "ProductCode" property.2)where I can see the the product code of my application ?
When you change the version of your package you are prompted about changing the Product Code. You can then choose between changing it or not changing it. An upgrade requires the Product Code to be changed and a patch requires the Product Code to remain the same.3) When will be the my product code will change ? while upgrading or while the patching ?
