Lot of EXE files are opening with the installed EXE

Hi!
I really hope that you can help me! So my problem is the following:
I cerated a Professional Project and after i installed my project to see how it works everything is opening with the installed software...

So if i start Total Commander,Firefox,Steam or anything else which is an EXE file it will open my installed application...So i dont have a Virus Buster...

I don't have a project file because i have reinstalled the Computer...but my Friend has got the same problem...

edit: Its interesting but IE6 and Google Chrome works...but only theese.

Hi,

Most likely you created a file association for the EXE extension. In order to remove this file association you can try to uninstall the package. If this doesn't work, you can follow these steps:
- open Windows Explorer
- use the "Tools" -> "Folder Options" menu to open the "Folder Options" dialog
- go to the "File Types" tab
- create the EXE extension
- use the "Advanced>>" button to associate this extension with "Application"

Please note that a warning is shown when trying to create this file association.
