I have a user that is getting this error near the end of the install:
Run-time error '-2147024770 (8007007e)':
Automation error
The specified module could not be found
[ OK ]
I asked them if they were doing anything unusual, they said no. They sent a pic of the error - this looks like a windows XP system with the classic theme, but might be Win2k (can't remember precisely what screen looked like). I do have some custom actions, including launching an executable file, but I've never encountered this issue before in the course of over 10k installs...

Usually this error is encountered when an application requires a DLL to run and the DLL was not registered. Since the error is shown during install, most likely it is caused by a custom action. Do your custom actions need custom DLLs to be registered on the machine? If so, the user can try to register them manually.
If this is not the case, perhaps the problem is caused by the target machine.
