Hi,

Can you please give me more details about the problem? What is the exact behavior you are encountering? Are you receiving any error messages when the package tries to install the driver?
Did you check out our how-to for installing a driver?

Thanks for you support.

I had do follow them:

1) Add all deriver's files to one fo my package's folders "drivers".

2) Use the "Add Driver" toolbar button and select the INF file "vgscdrv.inf" from my package.

3) I observe in the "Organization" page that the layout of my package has been automaticall add a Feature "vgscdrv".

4) Use the "build" toolbar button to building it.

5) Install the package. Installation failed.

What should i do?

Thanks

Sunny

Hi Sunny,

It might be a problem with the driver digital signature. If you are not using a digital signature then please use the "Install unsigned driver package and driver package that have missing files" option in "Drivers" page and let me know if the problem still persist.

Hi Sunny,

I tested the driver and it seems to be installed correctly. The error you encountered before was caused by the driver signature, therefore the "Install unsigned driver package and driver package that have missing files" option should have fixed the problem.

Please note that installing the driver will not automatically add it as a "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" network service. After the driver is installed you can select it from a list with the installed network services (instead of selecting the INF file and installing the driver).

If you are encountering the same behavior as before even when using the option I mentioned, please send us the AIP (project) file with the problem to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate it.
