Upgrade older versions vs side-by-side installs

The Advanced Installer "Upgrades" page allows a choice between automatically upgrading older versions or allowing side-by-side installations of different versions.

About half my users want to do it one way and the other half want the other way, so either choice is going to be bad. The installer for Advanced Installer has a dialog that allows selecting either one -- I presume this is a custom dialog. Do you have an example anywhere on how you created that dialog?

Re: Upgrade older versions vs side-by-side installs

Hi Rex,

Please note that this dialog is predefined and it is called "UpgradeDlg". You can add it in the "Dialogs" page by using the "Add Dialog" context menu or toolbar button. Also, the User Guide contains the Conditionally show the "UpgradeDlg" dialog how-to which may help you show the dialog only when an older version is found.
