Property Set from Registry

I can't seem to figure out how to get my install to read a registry key and set it as a property for use by a Custom Action later on.

Can someone point me to some documentation on "Property Source" and "Property Set with Formatted" Custom Action types...

Hi,

In order to read a registry value you can use a search. The name of the search is actually an installer property which can be used in the install process.
