Checking for AI updates

Whenever I try to check for updates to AI, I get the following error:

Invalid or missing updates configuration file. First line of the INI files should be ";aiu;". It is possible that the content on the server does not match the updates configuration file URL.

This is even after a complete uninstall and reinstall of both the 6.9, and 6.9.1 versions from scratch.


Any help would be appreciated

Hi,

Does the machine with the problem use a firewall? If so, you need to configure the firewall to allow the Updater to connect to the internet. The Updater should work correctly if this URL can be accessed from Internet Explorer.
