urgent: UNC Path in Dialogs

How can i put a button or control for selecting UNC path (network folder path) (like Directory Combo list) in one of the Dialogs, There is a Directory List, but it does not show the Network folders to select to.

Hi,

Please note that the User Guide contains the Browse For Folder how-to which may help you. Unfortunately Windows Installer cannot browse a network, but it can browse mapped drives. However, the user can enter the UNC path manually in the path edit control.

Hi,

Windows Installer does support UNC paths, but it cannot browse networks (like in Windows Explorer). However, the next version of Advanced Installer will include a feature which will allow the user to browse networks. This version is scheduled for release in the near future.
