Missing updater shortcut

I'm using Advanced Installer 6.9.1.
I have a project which has a shortcut to Updater.exe. We use your updater.exe to update our program.
It was working well before.
But recently when we change some settings, the updater shortcut disappears in our program folder.
I also check the updater.exe at the place where our program is installed,and it is there.
the side effect of missing shortcut causes our program can not be installed.

I then re-install it and select "repair", now the shortcut appears and uninstall works.
this problem is really confusing to me and i need to know how to resolve this problem

I'm not sure why the shortcut is not installed. Can you please send us the .AIP (project) file and a verbose log of the install process with the problem to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate them?
