PROBLEM WHILE UPGRADING VERSION

HI,

I HAVE THIS VERSION OF MY SOFTWARE:

Product Name: trackman 4.0.2
Product Version: 4.0.2

AND THEN I WANT TO INSTALL THE NEXT VERSION RELEASED_

Product Name: trackman 4.0.4
Product Version: 4.0.4

The problem is, when i try to install version 4.0.4 in a clean machine works perfect but when i try to install the software in a machine that already has version 4.0.2 it doesnt ask to uninstall the previous version and it also prompt to install the version 4.0.4 in a 4.0.2 folder (as shown in picture). I tried every option from "Upgrades" but no success. Am i missing something, Is it a possible bug?

Hi,

This happens because the package uses the automated upgrade feature. In this case the new version will use the old installation path by default and it will automatically uninstall the old version. If you don't want to use the old installation path by default you can try the approach explained in this forum thread:
