Creating logs of files successfully/unsuccessfully installed

Is there a way to have the MSI create a log file which would give information as to which files were installed, and possibly which files were unable to be installed?

Hi,

To do that generate a verbose log file and search for InstallFiles action in the created log file. For more details on logging options here is a How To on creating a log file with the options made available by Windows Installer.
