Update Registry based upon language selected

I have a question. I have an application that has a registry entry that it looks at upon application startup to determine what language the application needs to start up using. The registry entry is one value with a 2 or 3 letter language extension. Is there a way from inside my mulilingual installation that I could use the "ProductLanguage" value (which indicates what language the user selected for the install), and use that to determine which three letter extension needs to placed in my application's registry value?
