copy aip file, created a new insstlr, run-already installed

Windows keeps saying the software is already installed even though I changed everything I can find. Do I have to create a new AIP file for each new project?

Hi,
Do I have to create a new AIP file for each new project?
If you create a new product you should create a new .AIP file.

If you wish to create a new product based on an older one you have the option to save the old one as a template, File → Save As Template. Then, on the New Project Dialog go to Custom Templates tab and select the project you want.

The template project will save the entire settings from the previous project except all the GUIDs will be changed, this way, the resulted package will be seen as a completely different package compared to other packages created from the same template.

Two products with the same Product Code can't be installed on the same computer.
