force installation destination
is there a way to force the application to install to an installation directory? eg c:\program files\myapp\ so that user can't customize the path?

Depending on what type of project you created you can force the installation to the path you have chosen and not allow the user to change that path.
In the left hand menu click on User Interface/Dialogs then in the Install Sequence list shown in the middle delete the "FolderDlg" by right clicking the choosing Delete. This will disable the installation path dialog box from appearing when the user installs.
