Web Download Password

Most of my software is downloaded from my site. An interesting feature I had with InstallShield was the ability to create a password before the setup file could be downloaded. Does Advanced Installer have a capability like this...and if not...any suggestions?

You can look into web-based installations. FYI: Our next release will have a predefined build type called "Web installer".

As mentioned in the following thread, the correct and recommended approach would be to implement serial validation functionality into your application:

You could also use the auto-updater to handle automatic updates. In this case you could look into Advanced page -> "Verify license before applying updates" option from the updates configuration project.
