Could not access VBSCRIPT runtime custom action

Hi Support,

On one of my client PC an installer that works on mine gets "Could not sccess VBSCRIPT runtime custom action" error and stops. What is missing on this Windows. It is a Windows xp Pro SP2.

Hi Moshud,

Most likely the machine does not has the "vbscript.dll" registered. This can be done very easy using regsvr32.exe. The following article has more details on this subject.

Further information.

Registering vbscript.dll doesn't always work especially on Windows 7. Read the below link for further information.
