Hotkey will not disable

Hi,

While I was evaluating AI I saw the "Hot Key" option under Properties while creating a shortcut to a text file and decided to try it. I randomly assigned the key "F" as the hot key and installed the program. Now whenever I type "F" on this computer it opens up the text file. Uninstalling the program only got rid of the text file, but it is still trying to open the file, it just can't find it so it does nothing. Needless to say I would like to type the letter "F" again sometime soon (the only reason I can even tell you what key it is assigned it to is because I am using a different computer).

Thoughts?

Unfortunately I cannot replicate this issue on my machine. Can you please specify the OS you are getting this on?

Unfortunately we are unable to replicate this behavior. Using simple letters as shortcuts is not recommended and also forbidden by most OSs, I'm not sure how this happened on that machine.
I notified the development team and we'll add an improvement regarding this in a future version.

Meanwhile you can try to install the package again and manually modify the shortcut hotkey for that text file, then uninstall. Maybe this can fix the issue.
