Question for multiple installation choices

Hi,

We are planing our products for different versions. Each version will have an setup.exe created by using Advanced Installer.
How to create a menu to let a user to select different versions?

Hi Richard,

I'm afraid I don't understand exactly what you are trying to accomplish. Do you want to have a master installer that contains multiple "setup.exe" files, for different versions, and let the user select which version it wants to install? If so, why don't you do this from your website, from where I assume the user is downloading them package.

Thanks for your reply. I'm not doing a download page from a web site. I'm working on a CD installation.
We need a menu before the installation to let user choose. Is there a easier way to do it?

Hi Richard,

I'm afraid there is no predefined support for this in Advanced Installer. You will need to write your own executable that displays the menu and launch an setup based on the user selection.
