Install Parameters

Is there a way to change the Application Folder value on the Install Parameters page? Also what does Application Shortcut Folder do?

Not yet, unfortunatelly. Today, the Application Folder is hard coded to [ProgramFilesFolder][Manufacturer]\[ProductName].

In the future, there will be a "browse" button next to it and you can change it to any value.

The shortcut folder is the main place where app shortcuts will be installed. Currently hard coded to Start Menu/All Programs/[ProductName].

In the future, you'll be able to change this one as well, to whatever value you wish.

Well, that's what I thought the shortcut path meant, but when I tried a sample install it didn't work. Do I need to supply my own shortcut to the application in order to get that one to work?

Never mind, I just figured out the New Shortcut context menu for an item installs the short cut in the Application Shourtcut Folder.
