On March 27th, 2006 Caphyon Ltd. announced the release of Advanced Installer 3.8.1, in Freeware, Professional, For Java and Enterprise editions. This release is available for download on the Advanced Installer website.

Advanced Installer 3.8.1 is a maintenance release delivering the following bug fixes and improvements:

Bug fixes

• Splash screen positioned off-center (high) by Java launcher
• File paths containing the current (.) or parent (..) folders were not processed correctly
• Invalid file and folder names (. and ..) were accepted
• Exception when deleting a file from the Common section (Mac OS X tab)
• Exception when trying to create a property based folder
• Synchronized folders not adding all sub-folders to the project
• Some projects were not converted correctly to the new style of UI
• JRE folders appearing in Files View during a build with JRE
• Media compress check-box was automatically checked on load
