Advanced Installer 4.0 - Release
Notes
On May 29th, 2006 Caphyon LLC is proud to announce the release of Advanced Installer 4.0, in Freeware, Professional, For Java and Enterprise editions. This release is available for download on the Advanced Installer website.
Version 4.0 delivers a powerful dialog editor for unlimited
control over every detail of the User Interface of MSI packages. Also
new is the support for the creation of configurable Merge Modules, and
many other enhancements.

Enhancements to existing
features
- Minimum and maximum settings for Java product memory specified

older Advanced Installer version
Bug fixes
- Hanging in case of an exception in the main method of a Java process

- Redundant password digital signature prompts when building MSIs in
several languages
- Properties are not resolved in Verb names so we shouldn't allow them
- Custom Actions are outside the InstallInitialize - InstallFinalize
- Execute Sequence should always be immediate
- When template.msi is read-only in AI folder, the build will fail
- Vague error message when copying setup.exe
- Setup.exe failed to download prerequisites on Windows 95 OSR2 with
IE 3.0
- ARPHELPLINK property was parsed as a Multi-Value property
