Advanced Installer 4.6.1 - Release Notes

On December 19th, 2006 Caphyon LLC announced the release of Advanced Installer 4.6.1, in Freeware, Professional, For Java and Enterprise editions. This release is available for download on the Advanced Installer website.

Advanced Installer 4.6.1 is a maintenance release delivering the following bug fixes and improvements:

Enhancements to existing features

• Improved build error messages with extended MSI message

Bug fixes

• OLE Limitations on Streams were affecting certain setups due to key sizes
• Valid Media View combinations were not allowed anymore after 4.6 refactoring
• Multiple Volume projects building even if up-to-date
• Crash when clicking button on ErrorDlg
• Extended ANSI characters in EXE file name caused problems when setups ran from CD with installation files outside MSI
• DiskId and File Sequence Start not set when using the wizard to create patch projects
