Advanced Installer 4.6.4 - Release Notes

On January 11th, 2007 Caphyon LLC announced the release of Advanced Installer 4.6.4, in Freeware, Professional, For Java and Enterprise editions. This release is available for download on the Advanced Installer website.

Advanced Installer 4.6.4 is a maintenance release delivering the following bug fixes and improvements:

Enhancements to existing features

• New Installation Type "Per-user (with administrator rights required)" for Windows Vista compliance
• Help for Installation Types on Windows Vista
• Lower Vista execution level for setup and Java launcher

Bug fixes

• Resource Data (icon, version) not inserted into files during LZMA builds
• "Force Installation" option lost if the "Install Conditions" page is not visited
• Crash on project reload if renaming the ScrollableEdit control on the LicenseAgreementDlg or ReadmeDlg
• Crash when setting "Delete on uninstall" registry key option
• Progress bar in "Basic UI" not correct
• Updater not working on Windows 9x
• "In-place" tab-order edit issues
