Advanced Installer 4.7.2 - Release Notes

On February 16th, 2007 Caphyon LLC announced the release of Advanced Installer 4.7.2, in Freeware, Professional, For Java and Enterprise editions. This release is available for download on the Advanced Installer website.

Advanced Installer 4.7.2 is a maintenance release delivering the following bug fixes and improvements:

Enhancements to existing features

• Better IIS version detection in case of minimal IIS installations

Bug fixes

• Only one instance of the bootstrapper can run at a given time for an installer
• Uninstall failing on Windows XP 64-bit when launched using bootstrapper
• StartMenuShortcutsDlg did not display correctly non-ANSI characters in folder names
• StartMenuShortcutsDlg displaying duplicate entries if the same product was found already installed
• UAC execution level not configured for all languages from the compounded multilingual package
• Issue in IIS Authentication tab when using a property based user name surrounded by square brackets
