Advanced Installer 6.1.1 - Release Notes

On January 31st, 2008 Caphyon LLC announced the release of Advanced Installer 6.1.1, in Freeware, Professional, For Java and Enterprise editions. This release is available for download on the Advanced Installer website.

Advanced Installer 6.1.1 is a maintenance release delivering the following bug fixes and improvements:

• Empty folder issue for Project wizards
• UAC patching failing sometimes for packages signed with PFX certificate
• CAB file not added to Media table after forced rebuild
• Synchronized Folders filters not matching correctly patterns ending in *
• Setup.exe not extracting correctly for LZMA and non-ASCII chars in extraction path
• Folders not removed after changing an exclude filter
• Renaming Target and Upgraded images failing when admin image folder does not exist
• Mixed 32/64 package type can't be used with Merge Modules
• Problems when executing SQL scripts using T-SQL cursors
• When saving a write-protected AIP there is no warning that the file cannot be saved
• Naming a Dictionary with invalid characters generated load error
• When selecting a GroupBox control it was brought to front and covered inner controls
• FolderDlg combo-box not populated with the correct per-build value of APPDIR in side-by-side install mode
• Two different builds (first mixed 32/64 and another 32 or 64) generate unknown error at build
• Automatically find an appropriate insert location for a Repository dialog instead of failing silently when adding it
• Multiple build configurations with different LZMA settings built sequentially were created with the same compression level
