On August 29th, 2008 Caphyon Ltd. announced the release of Advanced Installer 6.5.2, in Freeware, Professional, For Java and Enterprise editions. This release is available for download on the Advanced Installer website.

Advanced Installer 6.5.2 is a maintenance release delivering the following bug fixes and improvements:

Bug fixes

• Chained packages failed to install when using LZMA compression
• Several Bootstrapper dialogs were displayed in the background
• Prerequisites were not searched on all drives by the bootstrapper
• Buttons on MsiRMFilesInUse dialog did not show their localized strings correctly
• License file was saved incorrectly resulting in a corrupted license/changed hardware error; a re-download and correct storage of the license file is required
• Updates that used a "ServerFileName" updates configuration file entry couldn't be installed if they have "file://" URLs
• Incorrect merge for MSI packages which have directories with the same path
