DBSC Capture Profiles dialog - Registry Filters tab

In this tab, you can specify what registry keys should be taken into consideration or disregarded during capture.

Include

Specify what registry keys should be included in the system scan.

Exclude

Specify what registry keys should be excluded from the system scan.

It is redundant to add to the exclusion list registry keys that are not covered by any of the included scan root hives. By adding a registry key or hive to either the include or exclude list, all its subkeys are recursively added.

ImportantBy excluding unnecessary registry keys from the system scan you can considerably reduce the installation capture time and memory consumption.
