In this page you have the option to specify custom images for the banner bitmap and dialog bitmap.

Advanced Installer is shipped with a set of bitmaps you can use for this purpose. Alternatively, you can specify your own.

Bitmaps Display

In this section you have the option to specify how the bitmaps will be displayed: with fixed or variable size.

Keep original picture size.

The bitmaps will be displayed with fixed size.

Stretch with fonts

If you want your bitmaps to be stretched or shrunken to fit the controls, use this option.

This option will not affect the appearance of the installation dialogs if the fonts on the user's computer have normal size.

If the user has modified his / her settings to use larger fonts or smaller fonts Windows Installer will resize the dialogs accordingly. You can choose whether the bitmaps will be stretched when the dialogs are resizing. Unfortunately, the stretch algorithm used by Windows Installer is not very good and may cause slight "corruption" in the bitmaps when applied.

You should test the appearance of the bitmaps you are using in both cases and decide which is preferable in your case.

Use individual control settings

This option is selected by default and it enables you to specify the how the picture will be displayed for each control. It is available only for enterprise projects. The individual settings will be specified in the Dialog Editor.

The default sizes of the images used by Advanced Installer are:

• 500 x 63 for a banner image
• 503 x 314 for a dialog image
