The Product Info Page

This page allows you to specify information that will identify the product to upgrade.

Product

Upgrade Code

Specify the Upgrade Code of the product. You can directly specify it or use the [ ... ] button to select the MSI package. The Upgrade Code, Max. Version and Language will be imported from the MSI file. This field is of PseudoFormatted Type and can be edited using Smart Edit Control.

Versions To Upgrade

Min. Version

In this field you can specify the minimum old product version which will be upgraded. For example, if the minimum version is 1.1 then your package will upgrade all the old product versions which are higher than 1.1. This field is of PseudoFormatted Type and can be edited using Smart Edit Control.

Include minimum version in range

This option will include the minimum version you specified in the old product versions which will be upgraded. For example, if the minimum version is 1.1 then your package will upgrade all the old product versions which are equal to or higher than 1.1.

Max. Version

In this field you can specify the maximum old product version which will be upgraded. For example, if the maximum version is 2.0 then your package will upgrade all the old product versions which are lower than 2.0. This field is of PseudoFormatted Type and can be edited using Smart Edit Control.

Include maximum version in range

This option will include the maximum version you specified in the old product versions which will be upgraded. For example, if the maximum version is 2.0 then your package will upgrade all the old product versions which are equal to or lower than 2.0.

If the either "Min. Version" or "Max. Version" fields are left blank no minimum/maximum version is taken into consideration when the old product versions are detected. Also the correspondent "include" flag is disregarded.

Languages

Specify a set of languages to be detected. Use the [ ... ] button to select them.

You have the option to specify whether you want to detect the languages you specify or ignore them.

If this field is blank all the languages will be detected. Also the correspondent flags will be ignored.
