Navigate to "Properties" page and add a New Property like this: Name: CUSTOM_DIR Value: D:\ 2. Go to "Install Parameters" page, "Installation Folder" section and set...

Re: Signing installation package via AzureDevops build task with issues

Hi, Can you confirm that the machine your builds run on is a Windows Server 2016? We were able to replicate these issues only on Windows Server 2016 OS. On this OS version it seems the Microsoft API we use for Azure KeyVault signing it randomly fails. We will try to report this issue to Microsoft an...

Re: Converting Wix Project

Hi Scott, We have tested the scenario and replicated the behavior. This seems to be an issue of our Advanced Installer extension, thank you for helping us to isolate it. We will try to add a fix in the future and notify you on this forum's thread. Until then, as a workaround solution, please proceed...

Re: Converting Wix Project

Hi Scott, Yes, please send us the SLN file, the WIX setup files( *.wxs, *.wxl, *.wixproj) and also the .csproj file of your C# project. These should be enough for us to further investigate on this. As a side note, can you please try this workaround: 1. open your solution in Visual Studio 2. remove W...

Re: Converting Wix Project

Hi Scott and welcome to our forums, I am not so sure why the WiX project import fails, but the quickest way to get your setup project created should be through our Visual Studio extension. Can you please send us your VS solution (SLN file) and all of the project files it includes (only the project d...

Re: Check previous version upon new installation

Hi Kai, Indeed it seems our 'Product Version (identify by Upgrade Code)' extended search always returns 1 if a product version with the specified UpgradeCode is found. Re: Installing prerequisites on remote machine?

Hi,

Yes, this can be used but only if you have SCCM/Intune installed/configured.

Our "Deployment" support allows you to directly publish, from Advanced Installer, your setup packages in SCCM/Intune.

All the best,
Daniel
