We are seeing the same thing Currently using AI 13.1 I'm also seeing that this happened to a VM after a Windows update. WHen we copy our compiled Items we don't see this issue. Installer opens a file directory after installation.
I recently updated my version of AI to 10.3.
The only change i made was, enable verbose logging and saved the installer to 10.3.
Is there a way to turn this feature off.

Curious,
What am i not right about? Were you able to edit screens the prereq wizard dialogs. If so how did you do it? Because Dainel.Radu a moderator said it wasn't possible as of yet.

Is it possible to add our own predefined prerequisites.
I know you are taking a list of prereqs that are commonly used but what about non common products that one or two people use, or even previous version of our own products.

I've just noticed that in one of our installers, a dialog that I added is not being displayed when uninstalling from the control panel. Thanks the I didn't know that I could leave Guid blank.
However the log files that is generated is blank and because I'm using Jenkins to run AI I cant see any popups that may occur.
