Re: Virus Detected with AI Exe

Hi Catalin,

You would think so, but then this should already happen 2 weeks ago when I created this package for the first time.

Kind Regards.

Same thing here with the 16.8 version.
I'm unable to update to that version.

Re: JAVA_HOME

Catalin,

That did it, only 1 error remains:

Code: Select all

The custom action 'Get_Javahome' was scheduled only in "InstallUISequence" table. It will not be executed during an un-attended installation
Where do I have to move the Custom action to? As it will be installed Un-attended.

Re: JAVA_HOME

I found more information, but it seems not available: e.g. Get the value of: HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\1.8\JavaHome And that is almost possible with Searches > Extended Searches. But it is not possible to read that value as path, it only uses comparisons. Is there a...

Re: updater.exe and missing AIU file

Use the advanced installer Updater to generate an Updater.txt, copy this in your webserver, and ensure the path is correct in your installer.

Cheers, Frank

PS, Test in your browser if the url is correct, and if you see the content of the Updater.txt file.

Re: SCCM Feature

Hey meena,

No you don't have to install SCCM on your package machine, you need a running SCCM server on your network, as the feature connects to that sccm server.

Re: Cannot Import Reg File

Ok, at least that looks good, BUT :)

Open the regfile in NotepadPlusPlus, and make sure the language (Registry file) is correctly detected, then save it with NotepadPlusPlus.
This ensures that hidden characters are removed from the file, afterwards try it again.
