Re: Installer Doesn't Think I have Admin Privs

Hello Edward, That might be happening due to the "Run only if current user is Admin account" option being checked in the "Launch Conditions" page. I have checked this on a test machine where the user is an administrator and everything worked as expected. Could you please double check this once again...

Re: Installer Doesn't Think I have Admin Privs

Hello and welcome to our forums,

I am not quite sure I fully understand the issue here.

If possible, could you please give me some more details (attaching a screenshot of the encountered error would help here as well)?

Best regards,

Re: Update space available when selected different drive

Hello,

In order to achieve this (in a better way I'd say), you could add the "Volume Cost List" control to your dialog.

This should display the available space on every disk, something like this:

Hope this helps!

Re: Secure Property User Password isn't specified value

Hello, I have tested this scenario and I was able to replicate the behavior you described. You are indeed right about the password being "altered". The property that stores the password is encrypted before the User is created, therefore the password will be the encrypted version. order.png If you wa...

Re: Feature-based prereq does not wait for child prereq to install

Hello Justin, Well, that makes sense now (it's always the little details :) ). I don't even think the resources are necessary anymore. Please note that, in case the UI is skipped (such as Basic UI installation and silent installation), the feature based prerequisites are treated as "post-install". T...

Re: .NET 4.7 and above - enable WCF \ http activation

Hello Ian, Yes, that should be possible, especially if you found them in the "Prerequisites" page. What you should do here is: - go to "Prerequisites" page - right click on "Windows Features" --> "New Windows Feature Bundle" - select the target OS - then check "HTTP Activation" from under "WCF Servi...

Hello Duncan, Please disregard my previous thread, as it looks like I was wrong. It is indeed true that only per-developer licenses are supported in Azure DevOps. Hello Simon,

We already did that.

I will update this thread when we will.
