Problem with Shortcut Error

I have an installation that is coming up with the following error - only occurs once the application has been installed and I run the installer again - so it's when it is being uninstalled! ... I cannot find a reason for this??? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

SQL Server Instance List Filter

I have as part of my install a list of SQL Server Instances located through the network - this is using the standard Action BrowseSQLServers. Trouble is some of the networks using the install may have lots of SQL Server Instances - but only 1 that is applicable to my application. Q. Is there any way...

Automated Uninstalling in an Install

I have a situation where our application has changed several times as has the install. Problem is the current version is not associated with the old versions and when it installs the old versions are still there - this creates confusion with clients who are installing the new software. My question i...

Is there any chance this could have caused it and because I deleted it before setting it back? - So the setting to force the 'executing restore...

Can I add a dialog to provide a choice?

I want to be able to include a dialog window that has 2 radio buttons with 2 choices.
How do I display this before the prerequisites and can I install a prerequisite based on the value of the radio buttons???

Can I disable the "Executing Restore Operation" task

I have an installation that is taking about 10 minutes to run through the "executing restore operation" phase of the install. This is at the end of the processes. I have over 1000 users who will be installing this software in the coming weeks, however with a pause in proceedings like this ...
