Re: Updating using commands through the APP

Thanks and ya using justcheck returns that there are indeed updates waiting. It spawns an task trying to run the msi. However, one is never prompted.

Service will not stop

Okay its been about a week since I last had someone respond to my forum post so I will try here again. I have a service that I manage myself for most things since the built in service handler does not work well with our service. Manual upgrade as I see it. Download the newer version of the MSI and u...

Re: EULA issues with theme

Yep this clarifies the issue. I appreciate it. And though its too bad I cant use this option for my process, it's good to know theres not something broken on it. Just my misuse of the product. Thank you.

Re: EULA issues with theme

As you can see in this first picture by clicking on the blue link labeled Licenses terms and conditions That it opens up the folde...

Re: EULA issues with theme

Thank you. However, how did you get it to stop pointing at a random file or folder? I still have not been able to figure that portion out. I give it the path to an .rtf on my computer since it wont allow me to point to a file in the folder. And even it being that it still points to some other random...

Rollback issue with services

I create a service. However, it may fail at some point. I dont use youre built in service handler since it does not function in a way we need. So if the service fails I would expect the service to be deleted. However, it isnt. It there some way I can catch the installer failing and have it perform a...

Re: EULA issues with theme

No worries. When I find the time today I will move my attention to creating it with that theme again. I changed it so that I could at least have something working with it in there.

Re: Updating using commands through the APP

I would have expected that a GUI would have popped up displaying something. I guess I am wrong. What are the actions I should expect to occur after running this command if silent isnt being ran with it? The Updater is launched and shows a dialog box, checks for updates and automatically informs the ...

Updating using commands through the APP

I have my service setup to take in arguments as I put them in. So I have passed in ../updater.exe /justcheck This gives me a return value of 0 0 - Found updates for the application or the updates match /justcheck filters like -installready or -critical. From your website When I then run ../updater.e...
