Hello Arno,

I tested your scenario and the environment variable is installed correctly as a user variable using Advanced Installer 6.7.1 ("W2000/NT System Variable" option unchecked).
Please try your package on different machines and see the outcome.

Hi Mack,

I'm afraid what you are asking is not possible.
However you can set a default value to your COMPANYNAME parameter by adding it as a public property in Install Parameters inside the project.

Hello Thomas,

Unfortunately what you want cannot be done in Advanced Installer. You cannot place a condition when creating an XML element using our built-in XML support. You can achieve this only using your own custom action.
