MSDE Installing
Hi, I saw this application on NeoWin, and decided too look at it. I am wanting to know, does Advanced Installer have a way of including the MSDE into the build or as part of the installation process so as too remove the headache of installing & setting up the MSDE?
Hi Jonathan,
MSDE is already packaged and has its own installation system. If you are the author of MSDE, then you can easily repackage it using Advanced Installer. Otherwise, you'd need to have MSDE packaged in an Merge Module to include it in one of your installations.
Including and launching other install packages from withing your own package is tricky.
