One of the primary installer benefits is that an MSI package can be made in sucha manner that it will heal itself(auto-repair option).
This feature is completely missing in Advanced Installer, even though it gives the oportunity to benefit from one of the most valuable effects of using a MSI package. If a user deletes an ODBC, registry key, file or anything the application needs to run, this self-repair functionality will make shure that the damaged/deleted component is installed prior to executing the application, i.e. the application will always work, no matter what!
