Advanced!

I really like the robust look and feel of Advanced Installer (WTL is cool, isn't it?).
Here are some suggestions:
- custom pages
- calling external stuff (including custom dlls)
- language localization

These are "musthave" for any advanced usage.
I tried hard with so-called advanced (gigantic?) installers (mentioned in post of similar subject), I can even call myself an expert in tweaking them to suit my needs, but I ended up using NSIS (You can find it on sourceforge).
NSIS is the only one that (mostly) behaves as expected, it is easy to customize pages and is EXTENDIBLE WITH PLUG-INS.

You are on good path! Excellent product (to be)!

Thanks for the kind words. WTL is one of those things that make me love my job. :-)

Good suggestions, hopefully the next few versions will have them implemented.

Can you plese be a little more explicit about "custom pages"? (what exactly do you mean by it, what customizations you have in mind, etc.)

Thanks,
Cata

Custom pages are pages with user-definable layout of standard controls (labels, text-boxes, buttons...), where one can achieve specific instalation requests, like "enter password" pages, or "which should be Your default driver, native odbc or oracle" kind of pages.
