IIS: allow a certificate per SSL binding

Wed Mar 11, 2015 4:27 pm

IIS 8 and newer allow you to specify an SSL certificate per HTTPS binding added to a website. Advanced Installer currently only permits a single SSL certificate for the entire website, regardless of how many HTTPS bindings are configured.

Please would you consider upgrading Advanced Installer's SSL/bindings functionality to match IIS 8.0+ when that version of IIS is chosen in the "Create project" wizard.

Hello and welcome to Advanced Installer forums,

Indeed, we don't have support for this.
I have added this improvement on our TODO list and it will be available in a future version of Advanced Installer. Thank you for your suggestion.

If you have other questions, please let us know.

Best regards,
Dan

Hi Dan,

Another feature that IIS 8+ supports, but Advanced Installer does not, is SNI (Server Name Indication). Could you add this functionality at the same time you're adding support for multiple certificates per website?

Thanks,
Ian
