Prerequisite help and force enhancements

The handling of Prerequisites is looking much better!

* We really like the addition of the help text, but can an
interface be provided, so that we can specify a rtf file
(similar to the license) with our own help, or to add to the
existing prereq. help text?

* The force option is nice. We use it to force the install
of .NET, but if the user cancels the .NET install, the rest
of the install continues. Perhaps do another check at the
end, and repeat the prereq step, especially with the "force"
option.

1) Not easily. That text is bundled *inside* the setup.exe file. Having it outside is a bit more difficult.

2) Good idea. Has problems though, if you'd check for a prerequisite by searching the HDD for a file - takes quite a long time...

this topic is rather intresting for us as a new AIers. We have to install a German project and for German users the text says nothing. Is it meanwhile possilble to translate or modify the text to our purpose?

We are working already on the translations for the texts in the prerequisites dialogs. They will be present in a future release.

If you want you can contribute to the translation process to help us make the German translation as clear and accurate as possible. If you think you have the time to correct the German text please contact us at support at advancedinstaller dot com.

Any news on this topic here? I was sendimg the translations as promised within e few hours, but then heard nothing at all from you guys. Is there perhaps a beta version for me to test?
