In Advanced Installer 12.6.1, there is very little I can do to localize the Updater project. If I show "Selected or known" languages in the Translations page, the only language it shows in English. Selecting any other language indicates the Advanced Installer does not have translations, even if translations do exist for the Installer project.
If I try to create a dictionary for a new language, the only entry in the *.ail file is "AIU.DefaultUpdateName." So it appears that I can't localize the updater at all.

The translated strings used by the Updater cannot be modified because they are included in the Updater resources. However, if you can provide the correct strings we will include them in the Updater. If you are interested please contact us at support at advancedinstaller dot com.
