Support for special characters in Product and Company names

If "Product name" or "Company name" have special characters, like "Brand|Model" or "Deloitte & Touche", everything using that by default, like folder paths, will bomb. I know we can work around it but my feature request is to automatically parse out special characters from property names where they're not allowed, like paths.

Thank you for your suggestion. We will debate this possible improvement and if possible we will try to include it in our application. However, at a first glance this will be pretty hard to implement, because parsing and editing a folder property value may lead to undesired functionality. We cannot evaluate all possible drawbacks when editing a folder property value. I'm doubting that we can apply this kind of parse and edit operation for all the setups created with Advanced Installer. This behavior may negatively impact other users.

The best way will be for you to parse and set your folder paths to valid ones based on your desired logic.
